Foldable stairs, also known as folding stairways, retractable stairs, or foldable staircases, are specifically designed to offer a secure and efficient access point between a loading platform and road or rail tankers.
The design principle of these stairs involves a four-bar mechanism with a parallelogram shape, ensuring that each step remains parallel to the ground during stair rotation to enable the operator to walk upright safely.
A spring cylinder balance system with multiple sets of built-in springs maintains balance and reduces manual effort during the folding and unfolding process. The foldable stairs consist of components such as the steps, handrail, spring cylinder balance system, and locking mechanism, featuring a novel structure, user-friendly operation (requiring only one person), and reliable and safe performance.
The body of the stairs is galvanized for an attractive appearance, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting durability. The steps are constructed from dentiform grid plates with excellent non-slip properties, while the contact area is equipped with oil-resistant rubber components to prevent sparks resulting from collisions.
